Baby gardener Roo

In the garden on a fresh spring day. Helping mom out is little baby Roo.

While mom plants what could the baby do. Pick up the shovel and dig up some mud.

While mom plants lavender what does the baby do. Pluck some garlic shoots and chew chew chew.

While mom plants some peppers, what does the baby do. Pick some tiny strawberries and munch them through.

While mom plants some roses, what does the baby do. Pull the tiny sprouts and gobble them out

While mom plants some herbs, what does the baby do. Pick some flowers for a friend or two

Alas, the mom cries out, how will the plants ever grow.
So baby Roo brings a watering can and soaks the plants through.

Toys day out

One day Ru was playing with the construction truck, car, school bus and train at home. It was a nice bright sunny day of spring. The train said, Ru why are you playing with me in the house. I don't like to stay indoor unless I am parked in a rail yard and resting at night. The school bus said, I never play in house, other than a 5 annual holidays and weekend when I am resting. Austin's ocean adventures

In a far away place, in Australia, along the warm beaches was a boy named Austin. He came down to the shores every year. He collected shells. Shell collection was his hobby. Austin wanted to grow up fast so he could do all the water sports and scuba dive like his parents and see the fishes, touch them and talk to them. But he was still young and his parents tried to keep all his energies at bay. So, instead he collected shells and spoke to the starfish, jellyfish and seagulls and snails. He was always so excited to see them. Running after the birds to catch them. Getting hold of jellyfish and starfish were things he liked. Till one day his mom saw him do that and explained to him how badly it hurts when a jellyfish stings. But being a tough kid and wanting to be able to talk to a jellyfish he would still try to pick one when he found it. Roo's birthday gift

On Roo's birthday. There will be cake and candles and there will be lots of toys. Everything he wanted was all shiny and nice. Then came his best friend and said excitedly I have got something for you. Roo took the surprise gift and opened it with glee. And to his surprise in it was a tiny fig tree. Roo said, thank you but I would like a toy. His friend said, this is a special tree because you are my special friend. Roo asked whats special about it. The friend said like your teddy bear who is bigger than you and the roof of the house that's tall. If you care for the plant well enough, it could touch the roof. Every month you water and give it some sunshine, it grows an inch taller and grows as fast as you. Soon it will be bigger than your teddy and can even touch the roof.
